Reed Foehl
Saturday, March 3
Tickets are $22/person or $40/couple
Reed is a Boston native but has been based in Colorado since 1989. His simple yet powerful, direct compositions have caught the attention of new fans nationwide through commercial radio airplay and placements for television and film. With an endless stream of bleeding-heart songwriters, its not often that you find one with such a voice, along with a matched musical sensibility. If Foehl was singing in Yiddish, I'd still get what he's feeling. In other words, this guy's got soul. Reed has performed with Arlo Guthrie, Ray Lamontagne, Patty Griffin, Dave Matthews, Mike Doughty, Glenn Phillips, Colin Hay, Taj Majal, David Lindley, My Morning Jacket, Marc Cohn...to name a few. Reed Foehl
Justin Roth
Saturday, March 24
Tickets are $22/person or $40/couple
Justin Roth is a nationally touring singer/songwriter/acoustic guitarist who combines an artful blend of hooks laid on a bed of brilliantly inventive guitar technique for a unique mix of acoustic indie folk. His use of alternate tunings, partial capos and his two-hand tapping technique leaves audiences mesmerized and displays his impressive guitar playing that has been described as, 'more than just an instrument, but an extension of himself.' Justin Roth
Liz Barnez
Saturday, April 21
Tickets are $22/person or $40/couple
For her second time at the Bean, this singer/songwriter was heavily influenced from the distinct sounds of New Orleans. Growing up in the French Quarter, Barnez mixed funk with gospel, soul and Dixieland music to create "acoustic swamp-rock". While attending the University of New Orleans, Barnez met drummer Steve Amedee. Barnez also won the Colorado Sound Contest and performed at the American Music Festival. In 1992, she released Liz Barnez Band, her debut album. Often compared to Melissa Etheridge, the musician performed at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival for two years. Liz Barnez
Brian Hull of Meadowlark Jivin' with Marty Rein
Saturday, April 7
Brian Hull's songwriting, and passionate vocals are at the crux of the Meadowlark Jivin' experience. A published poet and lover of jazz, Hull's songs always tell a vivid story musically and word wise. Hull can get funky on that guitar. Brian Hull's songwriting is influenced by a wide array of sounds like soul, funk, and jazz. Lyrically Hull has drawn from the same well as the Beat poets, Bob Dylan and even 'The Minutemen'. Kerouac, Ginsburg and others have certainly added to their spices to his lyrical gumbo. Brian Hull
Marty Rein is a professional bassist from Fort Collins who has plays with local musicians including John Magnie and Steve Amedee from the Subdudes and Liz Barnez. He serves as a local ambassador for MusiCares and is a member of the Denver Musicians Association.

Aaron and Erin Youngberg of Finders & Youngberg
Saturday, March 17
Aaron was a founding member of Hit and Run Bluegrass Band, which won both Telluride and Rockygrass band contests in 2003. He is the proud owner and engineer at Swingfingers Recording Studio in Fort Collins, CO. Erin is the youngest of the group, but she has the most experience. She started performing in her daddy’s bluegrass band when she was 9 years old in Jackson, WY. She sings, contributes to the songwriting and slaps a mean bass, sweetly.
They’re playing original music, and dress it up just as the song seems to dictate. This leaves them free to explore their collective love for Old-Time, Honky-Tonk, Folk and Blues sounds as well as bluegrass, all the while producing music that has not been previously made. Finders & Youngberg

John Magnie with Special Guest
Saturday, April 28
Cary Morin
Saturday, May 26
Jeff Finlin
Saturday, June 9
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, the grandson of Irish railroad workers; Jeff Finlin became a truly a unique artist. His career has taken many twists and turns. He started out traveling America in autos, trains, planes, and hitchhiking, before settling down to play in bands in Boston, Ohio and L.A. He finally wound up in Nashville with long-time mate Gwil Owen to form the rock band the Thieves. “Finlin’s music is never confined to one particular landscape but links them all into one big sonic panorama. This record is like spending the best part of an hour with a gifted storyteller, and for the stripped-down proof of his songwriting skills, look no further than the stunning simplicity of ‘Alchemy’”, said Colin Somerville, of Scotland on Sunday. Jeff Finlin
For the third time at the Bellvue Bean we are proud to present John Magnie. John can make the accordion look – and sound – cool. In his hands, the squeeze box creates music that’s the utter antithesis of polka. Maybe it is alchemy. It’s funky. Soulful. It’s not Cajun. Not Conjunto. It’s more Ray Charles than Clifton Chenier. John Magnie
